Coochiemudlo Island has a special place in the history of the Bay Islands. This is where British explorer Matthew Flinders became first European to step on the island in 1799. Troy White is an internationally renowned Aviation artist and author. His love of planes began when he was a small child in the USA, and he turned his skills into a lifetime career, based on Lamb Island.

Lynda Faulkner’s art is as bright and sassy as her personality. She was always sketching – even as a child. But art didn’t become a full-time job until she returned to her family home on Macleay Island.

Karragarra is the smallest inhabited Southern Moreton Bay Island. “Karra” has always taken big steps to promote a cleaner environment. It was a real coup when they attracted the notice of a national champion of Permaculture!
